“I fell madly in love with him,” Hooper told us a few months ago, “In a totally not creepy way.” Through thick and thin, the two have always focused on having as much fun as possible, whether it’s going on dates at their parent’s houses or working on art projects to supplement their music.
When we had that conversation, I kinda knew we were on the same wavelength. I had those feelings too, but I got her to say it first, so I didn’t have to. When Hannah and I write, it’s kind of like a stream of consciousness and sometimes you don’t really know what comes out. And we record it, so we know what the hell we were saying the night before.
Like all good things, the summer and the residency came to an end and the five friends scattered back to their homes all over the globe.
